Just imagine this. You have a house on a caribbean beach. It is in the morning just before the sun would rise and you just woke up. The door to your terrace is open, the mild caribbean breeze is caressing your skin.
You feel a bit horny, even start touching yourself a little. You imagine that a stranger is passing by the beach in front of your house. He notices you laying on the bed. He walks up to the house, stands in front of the open door and ….
Not something that happens all to often in real life.
Yes, I made my first In-World sale. Of course this is not the companies first customer.
SLA Media is referring traffic to 3DXChat on a daily basis via their different websites. The main site is: Second Life Adventures. It is an established blog, written mostly by Caroline Resident, CEO and founder of SLA Media. The site receives about 10.000 monthly visitors and generates 3DXChat sales on a daily basis.
This post is aiming at people who would consider working with us in sales at SLA Media. It shows you what you can expect from a typical day at the office and how much fun the job can be.
However, what you will read is just my own way of doing this. If you want to apply your own strategy or come up with a better idea, by all means, do so.
First things first.
The very first thing I do, is checking messages to see if anybody who I have previously talked about has a question or even better: confirms that he joined 3DXChat. In that case I must get his user name and invite him (via IM or via email) to join our Service Group:
I am now in charge of the SLA Media flagship store for 3DXChat in Second Life. We are selling subscriptions to the popular online sex game.
The job is called sales manager. Sounds cool doesn’t it?
I do spend quit some time at the store and the attached cinema. The idea of having a cinema, is to be able to show movies made in the game. That way potential customers get an idea what to expect in 3DXChat.
I had no idea how much sex is involved in this job.
